ARC BOOK REVIEW: Slow Burn (Smoke Jumpers #2) by Anne Marsh

Slow Burn by Anne Marsh
Series:  Smoke Jumpers #2
Genres: Contemporary Romance
Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
It’s not every man who’ll risk his life jumping into the flames of a woodland inferno. Then again, Evan Donovan isn’t like other men. No matter how great or how treacherous the challenge, he gets the job done. But when he agrees to look in on a friend’s ex-wife after a suspicious brushfire, Evan learns that some jobs are too hot to handle…

Faye Duncan is a photographer on a mission, shooting fires for a magazine. Her first encounter with a wildfire isn’t nearly as wild as her first night with Evan Donovan. Things really heat up when Evan learns she may have taken a photo of the arsonist setting the fires. Evan is determined to keep Faye safe—but first, he’ll have to open up his heart...

My Thoughts

I usually judge the book by it's cover. If I see a sexy cover or a hot guy with 6 pack abs- I buy the book without reading the description. LOL.

I am in love of Donovan Brothers! The hero Evan Donovan is uber alpha firefighter! He's sexy and not your typical jerk hero! The story was well written, I wouldn't say the best story I read, but it has an interesting plot that the readers will definitely appreciate. :) The hot scenes was great! I love it when Evan said "Mine".

I cannot wait for the next series. Hopefully it has a sexy cover too! ;)

 About the Author
After ten years of graduate school and too many degrees, Anne Marsh escaped to become a technical writer. When not planted firmly in front of the laptop translating Engineer into English, Anne enjoys gardening, running (even if it’s just to the 7-11 for slurpees), and reading books curled up with her kids.

The best part of writing romance, however, is finally being able to answer the question: “So… what do you do with a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures?”
