My Thoughts
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I'm a sucker for hot highlander stories, there is just something about them that is down right sexy! Ewen and Genna are both strong likeable characters!Ewan is known as the best tracker in Scotland. He's definitely an alpha highlander! Though I was a bit annoyed that He kept pushing Genna away.. yes, he's guarding his heart, she's belongs to someone else yada yada!... but really.. It was a frustrating but at the same time fun to see how he battle his own feelings to her. It was somewhat forbidden love but in a highlander way! hehehe!
This is a well written story and great characters that captivates you from the beginning until the last page.
The Hunter is packed of romance, action and adventure. I love how this book ended that I was honestly craving for more. I've read a lot of historical/highlander books but I think Highland Guard Series is one of the best so far. I'm not a fan of long series books but this author has a talent that in every book it just keeps getting better and better.
And my gosh, all the cover in this series are yummylicious!!! Nothing is sexier than a man wearing a kilt!
