My Thoughts
Jo is running away from her ex husband.. she moves to Georgia and desperate to start a new life. What she doesn't expect is to meet a sexy handsome neighbor, Hawk...
First of all, I just want to say that the cover book is oh so sexy! I'm obsessed with sexy abs and this one is lickablelicious! lol.
Okay, on to the review... I thoroughly enjoyed this book! This is a short read but I appreciate that the author took time to show the character development between Jo and Hawk. They are likeable and I had instant connection with them.
Hawk is your typical hero.. hot cowboy, protective and a bit of a pusher but what I liked about him is that he follows his heart.. He's been waiting for the "one" and he knew it was Jo.
There were some issues that made the story more interesting.. like- Jo being older than Hawk, her cheating ex husband and so on.. the story is nothing too dramatic but it was enjoyable and I was hooked!
Overall, I recommend ThunderStruck to anyone who is looking for something short and sexy to read.
This is my first book from this author and sure won't be the last!
