My Thoughts
The wrong side of the tracks...
Reese was no good not for anyone, but especially not for Kiera Sheppard. He was toxic and wrong on so many levels, and exposing that kind of ugliness to something as sweet and kind as Kiera was a disaster in the making. He might be an asshole, but he wouldn’t ruin her.
This guy is bad boy but behind the bad ass persona is a kind, broken man. Surprisingly, He was genuinely nice and not the typical jerk I'm usually used to. He liked Kiera for four years but because of his upbringing with drunken parents, he thinks that he wasn't good enough for her. (aww... tears up my heart!) I also find it cute that he's unsure,caring and vulnerable when it comes to Kiera.
The geeky awkward heroine...
Kiera Shephard is attracted to Reese Trenton but he's trouble with a capital T. He drank too much, slept around, and always seemed to be in fights. But for whatever reason, the most popular bad boy in school wanted her...
I like Kiera's character, she's your typical shy doormat girl but not to the point that you wanted to punch her on the face. LOL!
Overall Giving it to the Bad Boy is a quick, sweet-sexy read! I was quite hesitant to buy this as I don't usually read books from Evernight Publishing and I'm also not a fan of Jenika Snow. But so glad I took the risk because I love everything about this book! It's a typical bad boy meets shy girl love story but it's well written with loving characters! I actually cannot believe this is EVERNIGHT (because they publish hard core erotic yeah?) so I'm surprise coz this one is between YA/NA genre but hey! I'm not complaining! I love it so I'm giving this a 4 stars!
If you're a sucker for shy girl meets bad boy theme then this one is for you! Now I wonder if Alex (Kiera's big brother) will get his own story? Can't wait!
