I don't usually read love triangle stories specially with two smexy guys fighting for a girl.. seriously.. I hate em, despised em and burn em'! But the description of the book drew me on this. I mean, how can you not? Smoking hot step brother, add up a sexy almost-priest? Fuck yeah.. SIGN ME UP!

She lives with a sexy step brother.. (so yeah. I'm jealous! lol!) Okay, I have a love-hate relationship with our heroine Lexie. She's whinny.. there were a lot of parts in here that made me think she's a teen.. seriously, she acts one in my opinion. But there were also times that makes me love her.. I don't know how to explain this without giving too much in the story but it's either you love her or hate her. The heartaches she went through for Trent was heartbreaking.. :(

I'm all into forbidden love or step-brother love story and I hit the jackpot on this one!
Trent.. The man is sinfully delicious! Trent and Lexie's relationship was amazing. They were best friends. I find it cute that he write songs and play it just for her! The chemistry and sexual tension was off the charts! But I just wish he was more... demanding.. intimidating and a pushover. lol. When he started seeing someone else, I wanted to tie him, smack him and devour his entire body.. IN THAT ORDER!
“I’ve fallen hopelessly in love with you, Lexie. I finally realize I desperately want this,” he says, his hand gliding down my arm. “I want a wife . . . a family. I know you’re in love with your stepbrother, and I’m aware I am not him, but . . . could you be happy with someone like me?”
Alessandro.. The soon to be priest!
My bias is Trent, so when I started reading this book my mind was set that I wouldn't like Alessandro.. but oh boy was I wrong!! It was hard not to like him! He was so... PURE! I mean seriously, I've never read anything so pure in my entire reading life! He's sweet, nice, innocent.. Their chemistry was there and by 70% of the book I was already in love with him!
“I’m scared too, but the one thing I know is I’ve never loved anyone the way I love you. This feels like forever to me, Lexie. It really does.”
You think this is your typical cliche NA book? WRONG! In this story, you wouldn't really guess who Lexie will end up with. I was torn between Trent and Alessandro! They were both amazing in their own way and it was a bitter-sweet moment when Lexie finally decided who she really wanted.
Overall, this was surprisingly a great read! It's light with the right amount of angst and jealousy! If you guys are wondering, yes there will be a second book but entirely different story. So no worries, this book ends with a HEA. ^_^
