Oh, who was she kidding? Mortified, Emma never thought she’d ever step foot back in Skin Deep again. But fate, with a little help from Emma’s flighty best friend and a chance encounter with a fudge bar, steps in. Now Emma’s torn between taking a chance on getting her heart broken by the enigmatic, gorgeous Lucas, and playing it safe with good ol’ trusty B.O.B.

Lucas lets Emma know that he gets what he wants, and what he wants is her. When Emma gives in and quits pushing him away, she’s surprised at how quickly the walls around her heart crumble. She’s even more surprised that her unconventional, zany family just endears her even more to him.

But no one knows there’s someone that wants her more, and they’ll stop at nothing to get her.

Where can I find a man like Luke?!

Skin Deep has been in my TBR list for awhile and I can't believe I just read it now!

I like the story and the relationship Luke and Emma had. Though I had a hard time warming up on the heroine.. I didn't like her in first half of the book.. she was whinny, annoying and acts like a teenager. Though I have to admit, she's funny and clumsy that made me laugh.

I love Luke.. sigh... I like my alpha possessive heroes and Luke is in my list! He's a sexy, super alpha dominant and sweet! He wants her and will not take no for an answer! Seriously, I don't know what he saw in Emma.. darn that woman. so lucky to have him! grr!

The second characters are amazeballs too! Brandon, Jackson, Allie and the rest of her family was hilarious! There was this scene when Emma's sister calls her because she thinks her husband is cheating on her was funny! lol. Even though Skin Deep is funny as hell, the sex scenes are steamy and explicit! It has a light bdsm (not a fan of bdsm) but it didn't bother me.

Over all, I liked it but didn't love it because there where times that the story kinda drags on and I skimmed it a bit but other than that, I highly recommend this book- it's romantic, funny, sexy, drama and a little suspense that you would enjoy! Actually just to have Luke, Brandon and Jackson in this story is worth the read! hehe!

I believe Skin Deep is the debut book of J.M Stone and I am very impressed!!
Will definitely read the second book when it comes out! I'm thinking maybe it's going to be Allie's story, but hopefully it's not a menage thing.. coz I don't like sharing.. anyway.. we'll see! :)
