Thomas needs to land a big contract with the Golden Hand Casino. He hates coming back to Vegas but his company needed to branch into the Vegas market. He's on his way to the meeting but when he noticed a woman (Brianna) so caught up in her technology and not watching that she'd walk right into the newspaper box in front of her... Thomas decided he needs to rescue her.. unfortunately they both stumbled and sparks fly! Brianna is a successful business woman. She's a widowed mother of three who is not looking for love, but couldn't resist the charm of Thomas.
We met Thomas in the first book Try Me as Erica's older brother. I honestly felt bad for Thomas, his cheating ex-wife left him broken. She did a lot of damaged that now he's afraid to trust and love again.
The characters are flawed but likeable. Brianna was an okay heroine. She's strong and independent but it took me awhile to warm up to her. I normally favor one character over the other and in here Thomas is my favorite! It's been awhile since I read a sensitive hero like Thomas. I like that he's emotional and pushy! Their relationship started out of lust/sex but eventually he wants more. He's willing to take a risk and proved that he really wants a relationship with her and her children. It was enjoyable to see him tries to win them over. He doesn't give up easily! (Where can you find someone like that?!)
The banter and interaction with the main characters was entertaining! My only complaint is that everything felt so rush! The romance happened way too fast it took me awhile to process everything! lol!
Other than that– Love Me has the right amount of everything. Sweet, witty, sexy and heartwarming story that just grab my heart and I had a hard time putting it down!
I've read a lot of Diane Alberts books so I kinda knew what to expect here. She has a talent for writing romantic stories and I was not disappointed! I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes second time romance!
Can't wait for the next book which is Play Me!
Oh before I go, I just want to add up that the covers in this series are oh-so sexy.. those yummy delicious abs makes me want to rawr!~♥
