ARC BOOK REVIEW: Wilde Nights in Paradise (A Wilde Security Novel) by Tonya Burrows

Wilde Nights in Paradise (A Wilde Security Novel) by Tonya Burrows
Genres: Romantic Suspense
Publication Date: Jun 10, 2013
My Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
He’ll guard her body all night long.

Former Marine Jude Wilde’s motto has always been “burn bridges and never look back,” so nobody is more surprised when Wilde Security is hired to protect assistant district attorney Libby Pruitt, the woman he loved and left. Although she makes it clear she wants nothing to do with Jude, they’re forced to fake a relationship for her safety. He can’t ignore the heat still simmering between them, and when her stalker’s threats escalate to attempted murder, he’s left with no choice but to whisk her away to a friend’s safe house in Key West, FL.

Cooped up in paradise together, Jude begins to chip away at Libby’s resolve to hate him. But even as she gives in to his proximity and her body’s demands for his, she refuses to fall for his charms again. Maybe a torrid affair in the sun is exactly what she needs to get him out of her system. But when her stalker tracks them down, can they escape the steamy Key West night without anyone getting hurt?

My Thoughts

Never look back...

That's Jude Wilde's motto in life, but when Wilde Security is contacted to protect Elizabeth, his ex-fiance, his words to live by become a little harder to follow...

The one that got away...

Libby has been receiving death threats and her father hired Wilde Security to protect her..
and the only one who can provide this job is Jude.. her ex-fiance-slashed-"cheating bastard"

First of all, I'm a big fan of Tonya Burrows! So when I heard she's releasing a new book I was actually hoping it's going to be the HORNET series.. but when I found out that the characters in this story have connections to those in SOH, i got all giddy and excited! I saw the book cover and read the description of this book and I had the urged feeling that I gotta read it NOW!

Both main characters are flawed and likeable.. but i gotta say Jude is my favorite here. He's a one hunky alpha sexy man. He lives life with a devil may care attitude. He's a troublemaker and everyone in his family thinks he's a failure but throughout the book we get to see he has so much more. He's very protective and witty!

Jude and Libby's chemistry is there and it was entertaining to read how they dealt with their past issues.

For a reader who loves sexy alpha males, this story is filled with them! I felt like I was in a candy shop and couldn't decide which one to eat first! hehe! It was also fun to read the interaction between the Wilde brothers.

Overall, love this book!! Wilde Nights in Paradise is not just about second chance love story but also about relationship with the family with a hot sex scenes and suspense throw in it! A fantastic fast paced story and you'll have a hard time putting it down!

I'm definitely a big fan and I'm excited to read more about the rest of THE WILDE BROTHERS and HORNET team~!

I received this book from Entangled Publishing, LLC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

About the Author
Writing has always been my one true love. I wrote my first novel-length story in 8th grade and haven't put down my pen since. I received a B.A. in creative writing from SUNY Oswego and I'm now working on a MFA in popular fiction at Seton Hill University.

When I'm not writing, I spend my time reading, painting (badly), exploring new places, and enjoying time with my family. Give me a good horror movie over a chick flick any day. (And, let's be honest, I'll take a bad horror movie too!) I'm a geek at heart and pledge my avid TV fandom to Supernatural and Doctor Who. I'm also a big fan of The Voice. What can I say? Guilty pleasure.

I share my life with two dogs and a ginormous cat. I'm from a small town in Western New York, but I suffer from a bad case of wanderlust and usually end up moving someplace new every few years. Luckily, my animals are all excellent travel buddies.
