Second Chance Boyfriend (Drew + Fable #2) by Monica Murphy

Second Chance Boyfriend by Monica Murphy
Series: Drew + Fable #2
Genres: Contemporary Romance, New Adult
Purchased: Amazon
Publication Date: Apr 5, 2013
My Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
Lost. That one single word best describes my life at this very moment. I lost the last games of the season and both my team and my coach blame me. I lost the last two months because I drowned in my own despair like a complete loser. And I lost the only girl who ever mattered because I was afraid being with me would destroy her.

But now I realize how truly lost I am without her. She has become my story…and even though she acts like she’s moved on, I know she still thinks about me just as much as I think about her. She’s beautiful, sweet—and so damn vulnerable, all I want to do is help her. Be there for her.

Love her…

If only I could convince Fable to give me a second chance. Then I wouldn’t feel so lost anymore, and neither would she. We could be found together.

Forever.

My Thoughts

PERFECT!

I loved all the moments between Fable and Drew!

I had high expectation in this book and Ms. Murphy did not disappoint me!

The story picks up about two months where One Week Girlfriend ended. I had some issues with Drew in the previous book, but in this book he grew up and change a lot. He's strong enough to face his problems and ready to fight the love for her. I like that he made a lot of effort to be a man worth for Fable.

Maybe it was a mistake leaving you.
And I don’t know how to make it right.
Regret fills me every single day.
So much of it builds up I
Hate myself for
Missing you. Hurting you.
And I want you to know I…
Long for you
Love you
Others may come and go in our lives but…
We belong together

I just love his POV, you can really feel the love he have for Fable. The poems he made for her was so darn sweet! He won me over in this book!

“Fine. I’ve always run away in the past. But you, Fable. You make me want to stay.”

Fable on the other hand.. tried to move on with her life. New friends, new job and for a second there I thought she was falling for a new guy too. As i said in my last review, Fable has a strong personality. She love Drew despite his darkest past.

The story was touching with the right amount of angst that would pull you in.

We get to see new secondary characters in this story.. and I'm hoping Colin and Jen will have their own story.. oh and it was surprising to see Adele's POV. wow. What.a.manipulating.bitch!!

“We’re going to make this happen, Fable. You and me.” I kiss her forehead. “Together.”
“Together,” she agrees.
Forever.

All in all, this is a must read specially if your a sucker for angst, sweet, hot romance!
Fable and Drew is one of my perfect couple this year! The ending and epilogue was perfect! I couldn't ask for a better one.

Gosh I just love this book! It was worth the wait!
